Description
It is a special, but popular legume, that is grown in many countries. Traditionally it is added to pork dishes. A very popular ingredient in Indonesia, Brazil and in the USA. They are high in protein, low in fat and contain slow-release energy. Small and quicker to cook than many pulses. Use black eyed beans in cajun and creole cuisine: all manner of stews and pot-based dishes.
